The Tequila Sunrise cocktail got its name from how it looks as you pour the ingredients into the glass.
Ingredients:
- 3 ice cubes
- 2 fl oz (60 ml) of tequila
- 5 fl oz (175 ml) of orange juice
- A dash of grenadine
- An orange slice and a cherry (for decoration)
Preparation:
- Place the ice cubes in the glass
- Pour the tequila onto the ice
- Pour the orange juice into the glass
- Pour the grenadine into the glass
- Put he orange slice and cherry on the side of the glass, and serve
